I set up and sell tools at several shows per

Hillsville VFW Gun Show & Flea Market
Hillsville, VA
Labor Day Weekend
    If you are going to go to one show in the east, make it
    this one.  I know that sounds corny, but it is true.  
    Supposedly there are 7000 dealers all over the town
    and 250,000 customers.  Regardless, it is big!!   I set up
    on Row 11 near the steps that go up to the upper field.  
    Several other tool dealers set up nearby, and I can point
    you in their direction.  I usually bring a large selection of
    plane parts, primitives, and my higher quality tools to
    this show.


Fishersville, VA Antique Show at Augusta

May 2011

    This show is medium sized.   I will not be attending this
    show in the fall, but I may try to go to the one in May,
    depending on whether the date conflicts with the WV
    State Fair Giant Flea Market.



PATINA - Spring Sale and Auction
March 2011
Damascus, MD
    This sale is located at the Damascus Maryland
    Volunteer Fire Association Activity Center.  There are
    100 8 foot tables full of tools at this sale, as well as
    outside dealers and a 400 lot auction.  I will have two
    tables inside and will try to sell some tools outside
    before it opens at 0900.  Early birds can get in for $15 at
    0800.  People usually start selling outside around 0530.

Southeast Old Threshers' Reunion

July 4th Weekend
    This show is great.  They have all kinds of exhibitors,
    vendors, antique tractors, and equipment.  It will be
    very hot, so plan appropriately.  I set up with Robert
    Davenport at this show also.  We are in the vendor area
    just left of the vendor area gate along the fence.  There
    are a couple of tool dealers right across from us as
    well.  I will be bringing plane parts, 50% off tools,
    primitives and miscellaneous, and a large selection of
    tools, especially wrenches and mechanics tools.



WV State Fairgrounds

    I will be setting up at the fall Giant Flea Market on
    October 1, 2, and 3, 2011 at the fairgrounds in Fairlea,
    WV. It is located in the area in and around the WV
    Building on the fairgrounds.  There is also another Gian
    Flea Market near the beginning of May.  During the fair
    in August, there used to be a 9 day flea market along
    the edge of the parking lot across the street.  I am not
    sure whether they will have one in 2011.

November 2010 & April 2011

    I am planning on attending this show in both the fall
    and spring.  For the fall show, I will be in spots 56 and
    57, which are located between the Antique Village
    buildings on the bathhouse/speedway side.  I will be set
    up with Robert Davenport from Wilmington, NC.


Court Days Flea Market
Mt. Sterling, KY
October 15, 16, 17, and 18, 2010

    I will be attending this show, and I will be in spots C4
    and C5.  I have never been to this one, but I am told that
    it is similar in size and scope to the Hillsville Flea Market.

Local Flea Markets
WV, OH, and VA

    I sporadically attend the following flea markets:  Pence
    Springs, WV (Sunday), Pipestem, WV (Sunday),
    Tazewell, VA (Monday), Gallipolis, OH (Friday, Saturday,
    Sunday), and Lewisburg, WV (Saturday).  I am probably
    through attending these markets for 2010.  I may go to a
    few of them in the middle of November, weather
    permitting.
